Ride Flyer: Click Here CAJUN CHALLENGE FALL CENTURY Sponsored by: Dwight Andrus Insurance and Academy Sports Date: Saturday, September 15, 2007 Time: 07:30 AM Venue: Magdalen Square Address: Downtown ABBEVILLE, LA 70510 Brief Description: You start in beautiful oak tree shaded Magdalen Square in downtown Abbeville. You’ll head out to the shaded lanes along Bayou Teche in Iberia Parish and return through southern Vermilion Parish to ride the roads that were under 10 feet of water for Hurricane Rita. You will see the houses the locals have built on stilts to avoid the future floods. You will ride as far south as the roads will take you. We have check the tide charts and the roads shouldn’t be covered with water. Grab your family and bicycles for one of the last fall rides in South Louisiana! Ride through beautiful After the ride enjoy some good ol' cajun cooking. Fun for all ages and experience levels. However, you must wear a helmet to participate. See you there!
